I ordered a Vichy Catalan. He ordered an alcohol-free beer. We split some chips and olivas.
“So, what do you think?” I asked.
“I really want a baby with you, but only if you’re okay with it. It’s your body,” he replied.
“Me too.”
And that very night, we unknowingly conceived our baby. Naturally.
As I write you today, I’m six weeks into the pregnancy.
Still early. Still surreal. Still so much path to walk.
I share this with you because this experience shifted something within me. This shift deserves to be visible, normalized, and respected. Not living behind closed doors and within isolated minds.
I imagine other women—maybe even you—may have experienced some version of this. For me, the shift hit me like a ton of identity bricks.
“Who do I want—no, need—to become for the next version of my life?”
And I mean the most bold, beautiful, authentic badass version of myself. The version that creates my next-level dream life. One where external success and internal fulfillment multiply—while shaping another human life.
The funny part? It’s the very question I ask my clients as they craft their inspiring vision for their dream life.
That (obvious) realization unlocked something HUGE.
Most of my clients—with the official leadership title or not—come to me for something work-related. Be a better leader. Make better decisions. Get a promotion. Feel more calm and confident.
Yet, by the end of our first session, everything changes.
It’s not only about work. It’s about their life (work is part of life).
The life they’re tolerating.
The life they secretly desire, yet are afraid to go after.
And the person they need to become to create that life.
The identity shift is the thing that alters the trajectory of your life.
So today, we’re keeping it simple.
No tools. No frameworks. No deep dives.
Only a question—or rather three.
Ask yourself—really ask yourself—"What is the vision for my dream life? What is the deeper thing it gets me? Who do I need to become to make it a reality?"
Feel free to hit reply and let me know. I’d love to hear your thoughts.
